By ( I am an Owner) on Oct 10, 2008. The 2004 Honda Shadow Aero is a wonderful, reliable motorcycle. It has a low seat height and low center of gravity. It feels very stable in low speed maneuvers and travels well on the highway. Wind doesn't seem to affect it very much at high speeds considering it's size.
Not so much so, considering the extra weight on the Aero, I wouldn't expect it to be leaving the VLX behind in any event. The history of the VLX vs the 750 brethren has been a dead even one, there really is no performance advantage with either bike. The only advantage is comparing the older dual carb 600/750 with the newer single carb 600/750.
